The number 3 occurs 467 times in the Bible and represents a preparation and completion of what God is leading. For instance, Esther fasted 3 days; Jesus was in the grave 3 days; The Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and Daniel prayed 3 times a day.
Joshua 1:11 (NIV) 1: 11 “Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Get your provisions ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.’”
